Originally released in 1999, the Lunar Mountain Sunrise EP was Thumlock’s second release and first on High Beam Music (Wollongong, Australia) whose catalog included iconic releases from the likes of Dern Rutlidge, Dardevil, Pod People, Nunchukka Superfly, Legends of Motorsport, The Monstrous Blues, Log and more.

In 2019 Music Farmers released a 20th Anniversary edition of the EP, for the first time on vinyl and limited to 300 copies, this featured new updated cover art done by Craig Phillips (pictured).
